Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By creating an account, requesting a CoinBox mailer, submitting coins for processing, or otherwise using CoinBoxforCash.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Introduction

CoinBoxForCash.com is owned and operated by CBC Redemption Services LLC, a Colorado limited liability company based in northern Colorado. CoinBoxforCash.com is a coin counting and redemption service with a mail-in workflow. The service allows customers to send eligible loose U.S. coins to CoinBoxforCash.com for counting, processing, and payout, subject to these Terms & Conditions. The service is designed to provide a convenient alternative to counting by hand, rolling or wrapping coins, or hauling coins to a third-party machine.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account, request a CoinBox mailer, or use the service. By using CoinBoxforCash.com, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement and have full authority to enter into these Terms & Conditions.

3. Service Description

CoinBoxforCash.com provides a mail-in coin counting and redemption service. Customers request a CoinBox mailer, package eligible loose U.S. coins, return the shipment through the designated workflow, and receive payout after the shipment is received, counted, verified, and processed.

4. Coins Accepted

CoinBoxforCash.com accepts U.S. legal tender coins only. We do not accept foreign coins, paper currency, tokens, washers, bullion, collectibles, numismatic items, or other non-coin materials. Counterfeit, contaminated, excessively damaged, altered, or otherwise unacceptable coins may be rejected in our sole discretion.

5. Prohibited or Unacceptable Contents 

You agree not to send:

  • foreign coins or currency
  • paper bills
  • tokens or arcade/game coins
  • washers, scrap metal, batteries, electronics, sharp objects, hazardous materials, or any non-coin items
  • counterfeit or altered coins
  • biohazardous, contaminated, or unsafe materials

Any prohibited or unacceptable contents may be rejected, discarded, or otherwise handled in accordance with company policy, without liability except as required by law.

6. Account Registration and Accuracy of Information 

To use certain features of the service, you may be required to create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, email address, mailing address, payout information, and other requested details. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information and for promptly updating it when it changes. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

7. CoinBox Mailer Requests 

After account creation, eligible customers may request one or more CoinBox mailers. Approval, quantity, and availability of mailers are subject to operational limits, fraud prevention review, and service availability. CoinBoxforCash.com reserves the right to delay, deny, limit, or cancel a mailer request in its sole discretion.

8. Packaging and Shipping Instructions 

Customers are responsible for following all CoinBoxforCash.com packaging and return instructions. The current workflow directs customers to package loose U.S. coins in the provided mailer materials, secure the shipment properly, attach the required return label, and use the designated return process. CoinBoxforCash.com may provide an instructional page and video titled “How to Pack and Ship Your Coins” to guide customers through this process.

Improper packaging may increase the risk of delay, damage, loss, rejection, or reduced shipment protection.

9. Shipment Handling and Return Process

CoinBoxforCash.com is a mail-in coin counting and redemption service. Customers use the provided return workflow and designated shipping materials to return coin shipments for counting and payout. Customers must follow the current instructions provided by CoinBoxforCash.com regarding packaging, label placement, and return method. CoinBoxforCash.com reserves the right to update its mailer, packaging, and return procedures from time to time.

10. Tracking and Account Status

Customers should retain shipment tracking information for their records after mailing a CoinBoxforCash.com package. CoinBoxforCash.com may also make certain mailer, transaction, or account status updates available through the customer’s account interface. Shipment tracking and account-status tools are provided for convenience only and may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable from time to time.

11. Receipt, Counting, Verification, and Processing

Payout is not issued until the shipment is received, counted, verified, and processed by CoinBoxforCash.com. We may use automated coin-counting equipment, manual review, digital recordkeeping, and other internal procedures to process shipments. Processing may include fraud review, contamination review, content verification, duplicate account review, payout review, or other operational checks.

12. Counting Accuracy Policy 

CoinBoxforCash.com uses calibrated coin-counting equipment and internal procedures designed to promote accuracy. Each CoinBox shipment is triple counted. In the rare event of a discrepancy between counts, CoinBoxforCash.com honors the highest verified count for the customer.

13. Determination of Value 

Payout is based on the face value of accepted U.S. coins actually received and processed by CoinBoxforCash.com. CoinBoxforCash.com does not provide collectible, appraisal, bullion, or numismatic valuation services.

14. Service Fee

CoinBoxforCash.com charges a flat 15.9% service fee, deducted from the total approved coin value before payout. This fee covers mailing, counting, handling, processing, and related service costs

15. Payout Options 

Available payout options may include:

  • electronic payment
  • mailed check
  • direct deposit
  • e-gift card
  • charitable donation, when available

The payout options displayed to the customer at the time of request or processing are the payout options currently available for that transaction.

16. Payout Timing

Payments are typically issued within three (3) to ten (10) business days after a shipment is received, counted, verified, and processed. Delays may occur due to holidays, weekends, shipment volume, carrier issues, fraud review, account issues, incomplete payout information, rejected items, or other operational factors.

17. Fallback Payment Method 

If CoinBoxforCash.com is unable to complete payment through the customer’s selected electronic or preferred payout method, CoinBoxforCash.com may instead issue a cashier’s check for the approved payout amount and mail it to the address associated with the customer’s account.

18. Charitable Donation Option

CoinBoxforCash.com may offer a charitable donation option as a payout alternative when available. If charitable donation is not active or available for a given transaction, that option may be unavailable. CoinBoxforCash.com reserves the right to add, remove, or modify donation partners and donation availability at any time.

19. Minimum Shipment / Economic Use

There is no strict minimum coin deposit amount. However, customers are encouraged to use the service in an economically sensible way. CoinBoxforCash.com may recommend filling a mailer at least halfway, and ideally around two-thirds full or more, so the shipment is worthwhile relative to service fees, handling, and operational costs. CoinBoxforCash.com reserves the right to refuse or void submissions that are impractical, abusive, or otherwise unserviceable in our sole discretion.

20. Rejected, Unacceptable, or Contaminated Shipments

CoinBoxforCash.com reserves the right to reject or refuse to process any shipment or contents that are counterfeit, contaminated, unsafe, improperly packaged, fraudulent, materially inconsistent with the declared use of the service, or otherwise unacceptable in our sole discretion. If this occurs, CoinBoxforCash.com may determine the appropriate next step based on the circumstances, including refusal, disposal, quarantine, delay, limited processing, or customer notification.

21. Shipment Protection

CoinBoxforCash.com provides up to $500 in company shipment protection per shipment, subject to these Terms & Conditions, internal review, verification of the contents actually received, and compliance with CoinBoxforCash.com packaging and shipping instructions. This shipment protection is provided by CoinBoxforCash.com, not USPS.

USPS rules continue to govern mailability and any USPS indemnity that may apply.

Shipment protection may be denied, reduced, or limited where:

  • the customer fails to follow packaging instructions
  • the shipment contains prohibited or unacceptable contents
  • fraud or misrepresentation is suspected
  • the claimed amount cannot be reasonably verified
  • the shipment exceeds stated or intended service limits
  • the loss, damage, or discrepancy is caused by factors outside the scope of the protection policy

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoinBoxforCash.com’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service shall not exceed the value of the accepted coins actually received and processed by CoinBoxforCash.com, subject to any applicable shipment-protection policy expressly described in these Terms & Conditions. CoinBoxforCash.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, emotional distress, or loss of data, except as required by law.

23. No Liability for Certain Events 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoinBoxforCash.com is not responsible for:

  • carrier delays, service interruptions, or third-party shipping issues
  • losses or damage caused by improper packaging or customer error
  • prohibited or non-coin contents sent by the customer
  • valuation expectations beyond face value of accepted U.S. coins
  • delays caused by fraud review, verification, or account issues
  • force majeure events including natural disasters, labor disruptions, acts of government, system failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control

24. Communications Consent

By creating an account, submitting a CoinBox mailer request, providing your contact information, or using CoinBoxforCash.com services, you agree that CoinBoxforCash.com may contact you by email, phone, text message, or other electronic communication methods regarding your account, CoinBox mailer request, shipping status, coin counting status, payment status, customer support issues, security notices, service updates, and other transaction-related matters.

These transactional communications are part of providing the CoinBoxforCash.com service and may be sent using automated systems where appropriate.

You may also choose to receive marketing, promotional, educational, or special-offer communications from CoinBoxforCash.com. Marketing communications may include service reminders, promotional offers, referral opportunities, customer education, company updates, or related CoinBoxforCash.com announcements. Consent to receive marketing communications is not required to use our services.

Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Message frequency may vary. You may opt out of marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP or by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the message. You may also contact CoinBoxforCash.com to update your communication preferences.

Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent CoinBoxforCash.com from sending important transactional, account-related, legal, security, shipping, payout, or customer service communications necessary to complete or administer your use of the service.

25. Customer Support and Notices

CoinBoxforCash.com may provide customer support through email, phone, text, web-based contact forms, or account messaging where available. Communications from CoinBoxforCash.com regarding account issues, service problems, payment status, shipping matters, legal notices, or security matters are deemed part of the service.

26. Privacy and User Data 

By using the service, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your information as described in CoinBoxforCash.com’s Privacy Policy and related service practices. CoinBoxforCash.com may collect and use account data, transaction data, shipment data, payment information, communications data, fraud-prevention data, and other service-related information as reasonably necessary to operate, administer, secure, improve, and enforce the service.

27. Fraud Prevention and Verification 

CoinBoxforCash.com reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity, verify account details, review shipment history, request additional information, delay payout, suspend transactions, cancel service access, or take other reasonable measures to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, theft, or misuse of the platform.

28. Account Suspension or Termination 

CoinBoxforCash.com may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe a user has violated these Terms & Conditions, engaged in fraud or abuse, created operational or legal risk, or otherwise used the service in an improper or unacceptable manner.

29. Intellectual Property

All website content, trademarks, logos, branding, graphics, text, service marks, workflows, and related materials made available by CoinBoxforCash.com are owned by CoinBoxforCash.com or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit such content except as expressly permitted by CoinBoxforCash.com.

30. Website Use Restrictions

You agree not to misuse the website or service, including by:

  • attempting unauthorized access
  • interfering with the site or related systems
  • using bots, scraping tools, or automated extraction methods without authorization
  • submitting false information
  • impersonating another person
  • engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct

Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, consolidated proceeding, or representative action against CoinBoxforCash.com.

33. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

35. No Waiver

Failure by CoinBoxforCash.com to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

36. Changes to the Terms & Conditions

CoinBoxforCash.com may update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Changes become effective when posted on the website or otherwise communicated. Your continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

37. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with any incorporated policies, including the Privacy Policy and any applicable instructions or service-specific rules published by CoinBoxforCash.com, constitute the entire agreement between you and CoinBoxforCash.com regarding the service, except where a separate written agreement expressly applies.
